Treating Acne with Simple Acne Cures

by Judy Aulin

There are several treatments that can be used to fight off acne. Finding real cures for acne may not be possible, but there are several products capable of treating the condition effectively. These may include home remedies, over-the-counter creams, and prescription medication. But, there are plenty of steps you can take to make your skin look healthier longer and acne-free without necessarily resorting to stronger methods.

Here is a list of things that you can do to complement your skin care routine and deal with your acne problem, at the same time.

*Don't over wash your skin

Over washing will stimulate the production of sebum and quickly lead to clogged pores. This problem will also arise if you scrub your face more than necessary.

*Use a honey mask

Honey has antibacterial properties so it is great for disinfecting and healing minor blemishes. It is also gentle enough to be used on sensitive skin.

*Keep your hair off of your face

The oil present in your hair will transfer to your face and contribute to breakouts. You might want to wash your hair everyday and after workouts.

*Avoid picking or squeezing pimples

When you pick at your pimples in hopes of getting rid of them, you are actually helping increase sebum production. Another reason to stop popping pimples, is that when you break the skin you increase the possibility of infection.

*Remove your makeup before going to bed

For starters, makeup is not an essential part of skin care. In fact, it can irritate your skin and clog your pores. So, before laying your head on your pillow, make sure you remove all traces of makeup to allow your skin to breathe and restore itself properly.

*Take your vitamins and chromium supplement

A vitamin deficiency can cause acne. This problem is easily solved if you just remember to take your vitamins. Chromium, on the other hand, helps the skin heal quickly.

*Follow a diet rich in Vitamin A and Zinc

A balanced diet is also considered an excellent biological acne cure. In fact, your dermatologist will probably suggest some dietary changes in addition to traditional acne creams.

Vitamin A reduces sebum production and strengthens the protective tissue of the skin. Therefore, it is commonly used as an acne remedy. Foods high in Vitamin A include carrots, spinach, and calf liver.

Zinc is an antibacterial agent that can help your body fight off infection. You can obtain zinc from meat products such as beef, turkey, chicken, and even lobsters and crabmeat. However, not everyone eats meat. If you are one of these people and prefer a diet rich in fruits and vegetables you can obtain this mineral by eating wholegrain foods, brown rice, potatoes, and peanuts.

*Wash your pillowcase as frequently as possible

Your pillowcase can quickly absorb oils from your face and redistribute them. In order to keep this from producing a problem, you should wash your pillowcase and sheets as often as every other day to keep them clean.

Combining all of these steps with a rigorous cleansing routine is what constitutes the perfect acne cure.

You should always try to prevent acne not only for aesthetic reasons but also for your overall health. However, if you ignore the problem it will only make acne worse and eventually lead to the dreaded acne scars. So, if you're tired of waiting around for the solution, try BIOACNECARE. This all-natural acne cream is a perfect and safely effective way to treat acne, especially severe acne.
