Acne Scars Treatment Options

by Danna Finnerand

The goal of scar treatments is to give the skin a more acceptable physical appearance. Total restoration of the skin, to the way it looked before you had acne, is often not possible, but scar treatment does usually improve the appearance of your skin.

The best way to avoid scarring is to treat acne as soon as possible, and as long as necessary. If scars form, a number of efficient treatments are available. Dermatologic surgery treatments should be discussed with a dermatologist.

Natural Ingredients - Beneficial to Acne Treatment

To fight acne scars, your best option is a biological skin care cream. Using it regularly, it should both eliminate damaged tissues and replace them with newly created healthy skin cells. It also should treat skin infection and avoid scarring. The time period necessary to yield full results will depend on how deep and old is the scarring.

A particularly good product should contain a biological substance that is both an enzyme that stimulates metabolic actions and a signal transduction protein that triggers the mechanism of skin repair and skin remodeling.

The metabolic action implies specially complex chains of controlled biochemical modification of chemical elements in living organisms and cells. This includes the biosynthesis of intricate biological molecules (anabolism) and their breakdown (catabolism).

Protein catabolism is the breakdown of proteins into amino acids and simple derivative compounds, for transport into the cell through the plasma membrane and ultimately for the polymerisation into new proteins via the use of ribonucleic acids (RNA) and ribosomes.

Through these metabolic mechanisms enzymes are capable of quickly reducing the swelling or edema of traumatized or injured tissues by actually "digesting" or breaking down damaged tissues and unfunctional cells at the site of injury, allowing these residual materials to be eliminated quickly from skin injuries so as to reduce inflammation and subsequent pain, speeding the healing process and promoting regeneration of tissue to then take place more quickly.

Biologically, signal transduction is any mechanism by which a cell converts one type of signal or stimulus into another. Mechanisms called signal transductions often imply a sequence of biochemical reactions inside the cell, which are conduced by enzymes and linked through second messengers. Such processes take place in as little time as a millisecond or as long as a few seconds. In transduction processes, an increasing number of enzymes and other elements become engaged in the events unchained by the initial stimulus. In such cases the chain of steps is called a "signalling cascade" and usually results in a small stimulus generating a large response.

Biological substances used to elaborate some skin care products include a complex mucin with natural peptides that fight acne infection, skin regenerating peptides that reduce scar tissues and avoid and repair scarring, and enzymes that dissolve damaged cells, stop inflammation and trigger skin regeneration.

A new and natural skin care cream is now available to treat all kinds of acne marks without undesirable side effects. In our web you'll find all about its natural ingredients and how they can help you to recover your old skin.
